KERELA: A daily wage labourer of 60 years old named Mammikka is gaining a lot of attention in social media after his transformation of looks through makeovers.

The old man has turned from an original lungi-wearing person to a dashing model which appears to be a surprise for many people known to him.

His uber-glam makeover of the old man seems to attract a lot of attention on various social media platforms.

The Kozhikode man daily worker is often spotted in his locality with his faded lungi and same shirt on a regular basis and his neighbourhood is well aware of his appearance.

Recently, Mammikka has done a promotional photograph for a local trading company. He is seen dressed a classy out wearing a suit and making poses with an iPad.

A well-known photographer named Shareek Vayalil once saw the modelling skills of this daily wage worker and got impressed.

Earlier Shareek has uploaded a picture of the daily wage worker on his social media account and the picture went viral because of the picture's similarity to actor Vinayakan.

So when the project came up to the mind of the photographer he selected Mammikka. The makeup was done by Majnas along with make-up artist and helper Shabib Vailil and Aashiq Faud.

Mammikka has now become the hero in his hometown of Vennakkad located in Kodivalli, Kozhikode. The daily wage worker now created an Instagram profile where he put his ordinary look picture and the one after the makeover.

His new look that seems to be very similar to film actor Vinayakan has made him already popular among social media users.

After receiving such an overwhelming response from people, the daily wage worker expressed his happiness and also stated that he looks forward to joining modelling on getting offered. He would continue modelling along with his regular work.
